Geology
Short characteristics of the site: Kutná Hora Crystalline. Small abandoned quarry and vegetated outcrops, exhibiting a stringer of dumortieritic pegmatite. This coarse grained pegmatite contains large crystals of muscovite, quartz and potassium feldspar. Turmalin aggregates also occur, locally turmalin crystals are as large as 7 cm. Rare mineral dumortierite was also found.
